NATURE CRIANZA TECHNICAL SHEET
- 1. VARIETY:
100% Garnacha from an Old Vineyard.
- 2. VINEYARDS:
They are vineyards of more than 60 years old located at an altitude of 450 meters
The soils where this vineyard is located are clayey, with gypsum and sandstones. Soils that bring great complexity to the wine.
They are dry-farmed bush vines.
- 3. PREPARATION:
The grapes selected for the Nature Crianza are from old, bush-trained vines. These are grapes that will give us great complexity in the wine due to the age of the vine, its altitude at 450 meters, and those soils that offer great balance.
The grapes will be harvested when phenolic maturity is complete.
The grape will ferment in temperature-controlled concrete tanks; after alcoholic fermentation, they also carry out malolactic fermentation in concrete tanks, which will favor the stabilization and roundness of the wine.
Once malolactic fermentation is complete, the wine will remain in 225-liter French oak barrels for a period ranging from 9 to 12 months, depending on its evolution, since what we want is for the barrel to be a complement to the wine. Once barrel aging is finished, the wine is filtered, stabilized, and prepared for bottling.
- 4. ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS
It is a wine with a bright cherry-red color; on the nose it is intense with aromas of ripe red fruit, with spicy and toasted hints that give it complexity. Sweet on the palate and with a long and persistent finish.
