Production
The production of red grapes dominates in the Navarra D.O. with 46.7 million kg (83% of the total), led by Tempranillo y Grenachewhich together account for 68% of this category. The white varieties contribute 9.4 million kg (17%), with Chardonnay as the leading player, accounting for 45% of the white total. Navarra stands out for its balance between tradition and varietal diversity, combining local varieties such as Garnacha and Viura with international varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc, as well as including experimental varieties that reflect a commitment to innovation.

Sales
In 2023, domestic sales accounted for 73,65% of the total, with a volume of 18,982,139 literswhile international sales reached 26,35%with 6,788,548 liters. Domestic Sales: The areas with the highest consumption were the Area 6with 12,449,233 liters (65.5% of the national total), followed by the Area 1with 2,486,176 liters. The metropolitan areas of Madrid and Barcelona contributed 262,309 liters y 212,063 litersrespectively. International Sales: Germany led exports with 1,384,521 liters (20.4% of the international total), followed by the United Kingdom (835,142 liters) and the Netherlands (818,472 liters). Other relevant markets included China (584,902 liters), Canada (490,911 liters) and the United States (331,373 liters).
