Nine wines, selected from over 160 samples from more than 40 wineries in Navarra, have become the new ambassadors of the Navarra Designation of Origin after a demanding blind tasting carried out by an external jury of experts.
The Designation of Origin Navarra has announced the wines that will make up the Navarra 2026 D.O. Navarra Wines Selection, a set of nine references that will be the image and ambassadors of the Designation in its main promotional activities throughout the year. The selection was carried out through a three-day blind tasting held at the Control Board's headquarters in Olite, in which more than 160 wines from more than 40 wineries in Navarra were evaluated. The process was conducted by an external jury made up of professionals from the tasting panel of Vinoselección, a national benchmark in the field of wine, who evaluated each sample according to criteria of quality and typicity. The wines with the best scores in each category that make up the Navarra 2026 D.O. Navarra Wine Selection are:
- White wine D.O. Navarra: Príncipe de Viana Edición Blanca 2025 by Bodegas Príncipe de Viana.
- White wine D.O. Navarra aged: The Magic Calm 2021 of Bodegas San Martín.
- Rosé wine D.O. Navarra: Pagos de Araiz Rosé 2025 of Bodegas Pagos de Araiz.
- Rosé wine D.O. Navarra with aging: Pago de Cirsus Rosé Gran Cuvée Especial 2024 by Pago de Cirsus.
- Red Wine D.O. Navarra Añada: Ayerra Tinto 2025 of Bodegas Ayerra.
- Red wine Garnacha D.O. Navarra: Aroa Mutiko 2023 from Bodegas Aroa.
- Red wine D.O. Navarra aged: Altos de Inurrieta Reserve 2021 of Bodega Inurrieta.
- Gran Tinto D.O. Navarra: SH 2023 of Finca La Cantera.
- Sweet Wine D.O. Navarra: Ochoa Moscatel Late Harvest 2024 of Bodegas Ochoa.
These references will be present in specialized tastings, training activities, institutional acts and different events related to the promotion of Navarra, acting as representatives of the sector as a whole.

The presentation of the diplomas to the wineries producing the selected wines will take place on Tuesday, March 3 at Cámara Navarra.
