In total, more than 160 wines from more than 40 wineries belonging to the appellation were evaluated. The references with the highest scores were chosen in the following categories: White Wine D.O. Navarra, White Wine D.O. Navarra with Crianza, Rosé Wine D.O. Navarra, Rosé Wine D.O. Navarra with Crianza, Red Wine D.O. Navarra Añada, Red Wine D.O. Navarra with Crianza, Red Wine Garnacha D.O. Navarra, Gran Tinto D.O. Navarra and Sweet Wine D.O. Navarra. The event was attended by José María Aierdi, Minister of Rural Development and Environment of the Government of Navarra, together with David Palacios, President of the Regulatory Council D.O. Navarra, who presented the awards. After the ceremony, the attendees were able to taste the selected wines in a relaxed atmosphere enlivened by live music.

In his speech, David Palacios highlighted the importance of this recognition: "This event marks the official presentation of our selection of wines, showing the character and excellence that distinguish our appellation. For the participating wineries, it represents a strategic branding opportunity and an outstanding showcase backed by the solid promotional work we carry out both nationally and internationally". For his part, the Regional Minister for Rural Development and the Environment, José Mari Aierdi, pointed out that "both the Government of Navarra and DO Navarra agree on the need to go further in promotion, in the search for new markets and in giving prestige to the quality of our wines because, in such a competitive market, quality is what sets us apart".

In this sense, Aierdi congratulated the wineries recognized for their wines for being an example of this.
