From October 7 to 16, the XXI Cazuelica Week and its pairing with Navarra D.O. Wineorganized by the Association of Hospitality and Tourism of Navarra and sponsored by the Regulatory Council of the Designation of Origin of Navarra. The winners of the awards Gold, Silver and Bronze three establishments in Pamplona: the Ulzama Bar, La Huerta de Chicha and the Bar La Barra del Goloso respectively.
Today, October 19, the finalist Jury formed by Nicolás Ramírez, chef and owner of the Túbal Restaurant in Tafalla, Virgilio Martínez, chef and owner of the Beethoven Restaurant in Fontellas and David Palacios, president of the Regulatory Council of the D.O. Navarra; have tasted the ten finalist cazuelicas of the XXI Week of the Cazuelica and Wine D.O. Navarra resulting winners:
Hospitality Association Award Gold Category: BAR ULZAMA of Pamplona:
- For its casserole: Wild boar sirloin with chanterelles, salsify root, parsnip chips and pacharán and blackberry caviar (suitable for celiacs).
- Recommended wine: Ledea Garnacha Tinto 2021 from Bodega de Liédena.
Hospitality Association Award Silver Category: LA HUERTA DE CHICHA of Pamplona:
- For its casserole: La Huerta (suitable for coeliacs)
- Recommended wine: Inurrieta Orchid 2021 of Bodega Inurrieta.
Hospitality Association Award Bronze Category: BAR LA BARRA DEL GOLOSO of Pamplona.
- For its casserole: Bacalao de la Montse (suitable for coeliacs)
- Recommended wine: Corazón de Malón Rosé 2021 by Bodegas Malón de Echaide
Likewise, the "Best Wine Service" Award went to BAR LA ANTIGUA FARMACIA of Pamplona. And the prize for the "Ninth Photography Contest on Instagram" went to Juan Andrés Muñoz.
