Awards of the XXXII Wine Brotherhood Contest

Yesterday, Friday, the awards of the XXXII Quality Contest of Navarra D.O. wines organized by the Navarra Wine Guild were presented at the Hotel Alma Pamplona where the winners and members of the guild gathered.

Last April 1, the final tasting of the XXXII Quality Wines Competition of Wines with D.O. Navarra organized by the Navarra Wine Brotherhood, which had a good participation.

The selection and tasting of the wines was carried out by the members of the Official Panel of Tasters as well as Cofrades del Vino de Navarra in the presence of the notary Mr. Alberto Toca. The only requirement that the wines presented had to meet was that they belonged to the Denomination of Origin Navarra.

The award-winning wines in this 32nd edition are the following:

 Best unoaked white wine: Irache Blanco 2022 of Bodegas Irache. 

  • Best white wines with wood: Príncipe de Viana Chardonnay 2022 from Bodegas Príncipe de Viana. 
  • Best Rosé Wine: Inurrieta Mediodía 2022 of Bodega Inurrieta. 
  • Best Red Wine Vintage 2022: Ilagares Tinto Garnacha 2022 from Bodegas San Martín. 
  • Best Red Wine other than 2022: Laderas de Inurrieta 2019 by Bodega Inurrieta. 
  • Best Red Oak Wine: Príncipe de Viana Shyrah 2021 from Bodegas Príncipe de Viana. 
  • Best Crianza red wine: Albret El Balcón 2019 by Finca Albret.  
  • Best Reserva and Gran Reserva red wine: Altos de Inurrieta 2018 by Bodega Inurrieta. 
  • Best sweet wine: Ochoa Moscatel Late Harvest 2021 of Bodegas Ochoa.
