The Designation of Origin Navarra will be present with an institutional stand at the eleventh edition of the National Wine Fair, Fenavin, which will be held in Ciudad Real from May 10 to 12.
The National Wine Fair, FenavinThe 11th edition of the "Ciudad Real" festival will be held in Ciudad Real from May 10 to 12, with the participation of the Denomination of Origin Navarra. Fenavin is expected to celebrate the best edition in its history with the greatest presence of wineries. Among them, those exhibiting at the institutional stand organized by the Control Board at the fair (Pavilion LI BAI, street 25, stand 8): Bodegas Quaderna Vía, Bodegas Malón de Echaide, Nekeas, Bodegas Príncipe de Viana, Bodega Inurrieta, Viña Aliaga and Viña Zorzal Wines. Also attending with their own stand: Alex, Bodegas Marqués de Montecierzo, Bodega Otazu, Bodegas Alconde, Bodegas Aristu, Bodegas Marco Real, Bodegas Máximo Abete, Bodega de Sarría, Bodegas Castillo de Monjardín, Bodegas Escudero, Bodegas Pagos de Aráiz, Bodegas Navarrsotillo and Propiedad de Arínzano.
The stand of the D.O.Navarra will host a wine bar: "Garnacha Navarra. For tastes, the three colors".. Visitors will be able to taste wines made with Garnacha, the emblematic grape variety in the Denomination of Origin. White wines that show the environment where they sink their roots, the rosés that bring so much fame and honest red wines of recognizable identity that are obtaining the highest distinctions in international competitions.
"On the occasion of the celebration of the tenth anniversary of the international wine competition Garnachas del Mundo in Navarra, from the Designation of Origin we place special emphasis on the strategy planned for this year to extol the value of this grape variety so much our own."David Palacios, president of the Regulatory Council of the D.O. Navarra, emphasizes. Garnacha is produced in its five zones: Tierra Estella, Valdizarbe, Baja Montaña, Ribera Baja and Ribera Alta. In these areas we find from the most continental Mediterranean Garnacha to the most Atlantic Garnacha from some of the most northern vineyards of the Iberian Peninsula.
The Garnacha wines produced by the wineries participating in the Navarra Appellation of Origin exhibition space and the Navarra D.O. 2022 Wine Selection will be presented at an exclusive event aimed at media prescriptors focused on gastronomy and lifestyle. This event will be the presentation and the premiere of GarnocheThe event, the Great Night of Garnacha Navarra in Madrid, will feature a selection of tapas prepared by renowned chef Manuel Berganza with Reyno Gourmet products.
