"Navarra de Chill" will take place in the capital of Gipuzkoa from October 15 to 31 and was created to encourage on-trade consumption of D.O. Navarra wines made with Garnacha, an emblematic variety in the region, and the P.G.I. Txistorra de Navarra, a typical sausage from the region.
The expression "De Chill" is very popular among the Z generation.
Means to make a relaxed, entertaining and enjoyable plan. And that is the concept that emerges from this promotion devised by the Regulatory Council of the Designation of Origin Navarra and the Protected Geographical Indication Txistorra of Navarra. Thus, these two representative products of Navarra come together to offer a casual gastronomic plan, through two unparalleled traditional flavors that harmonize perfectly and share that informal and fun nuance.
To this end, more than forty bars of the "Bella Easo", distributed throughout the neighborhoods of Antiguo, Centro, Gros, Parte Vieja and Riberas.will be offered throughout the second half of October, a proposal combining a D.O. Navarra Garnacha wine with a pincho made with I.G.P. Txistorra de Navarra.
"Navarra de Chill" combines multiple objectives in a single event: to stimulate the consumption of D. O. Navarra wines made with Grenache and to give visibility to Txistorra, one of Navarra's gastronomic jewels, as well as to promote knowledge of these products in the San Sebastian hotel and catering industry, to create a positive experience around these flavors with roots and to do so in an innovative and casual way, transmitting a modern message but based on tradition and to establish an appointment in the city's calendar in October with the Navarra brand.
Residents and visitors to the city who want to enjoy this delicious "de chill" plan will be able to participate in the raffle of a wine tourism experience in Navarre and a gift pack of Wines D.O. Navarra and Txistorra of Navarra. The dynamics for participation is simple: share a photo on Instagram of a tasting of the promotion, include the hashtag #NavarraDeChill, follow the accounts of @chistorranavarra_rg and @vinosnavarra and tag the location of the establishment.
