Winners of the XXIII Week of the Cazuelica and Wine D.O. Navarra

From October 4 to 13, the XXIII Week of the Cazuelica and Wine D.O. Navarraorganized by the Association of Hospitality and Tourism of Navarra and sponsored by the Regulatory Council of the Designation of Origin of Navarra.

On October 16, the finalist Jury formed by Martin Iturri, from the Restaurant La Cuchara de Martín in Pamplona, Sergio Lerga, from the Bar Restaurant Ayres del Soto in Pamplona and David Palacios, president of the Regulatory Council of the D.O. Navarra tasted ten cazuelicas. The winners were the following:

First prize, Gold Category, was awarded to Akari Gastroteka in Pamplona, Spain, for its casserole "Qué latxa! with the recommended wine Ubeta Selección Familiar 2023 from Ubeta Wines. 

Second prize, Silver Category, was awarded to the Bar Restaurante del Camping Iratxe. in Ayegui for its casserole "Garbanzos de vigilia de Barbarin con su bacalao" and the recommended wine Irache Chardonnay 2023 from Bodegas Irache. 

Third prize, Bronze Category, was awarded to Yoldi Bar Rest. Hotel in Pamplona. for its "Rabo de ternera al estilo Yoldi" casserole and the recommended wine Viña Zorzal Crianza 2021. 

The Regulatory Council Wines D.O. Navarrafor the seventh year in a row, awarded the Best Wine Service Award for Ispa Neo Taberna of Pamplona. The winner was presented with as many wine glasses as kilos of wine and a lot of Navarra D.O. wines, together with a diploma.

The winners of the "Reels Contest on the #CazuelicaYVino2024". in the Instagram category were the creators of gastronomic content. Aurora Martínez and Carlos Escriche of @comertepamplona and received a diploma and a lot of Navarra D.O. wine.
