The D.O. Navarra launches the series "Navarra en Origen: wine tastings and good people".

Jun 4, 2025

Tudela and Elizondo will be the first stops of this intimate format that unites territory, emotion, wine and the voice of the people who make it.

The Consejo Regulador de la Denominación de Origen Navarra (Regulating Council of the Designation of Origin Navarra) presents "Navarra en Origen: wine tasting and good people".The aim of this new cycle of experiences is to bring the wines of the D.O. Navarra closer to its territory, to give prominence to the people who make them possible and to activate the hotel and catering industry as a cultural and prescriptive channel.

The first appointments will take place on June 4 at Tudela and on June 12 at Elizondo. In each one of them, five wines of the D.O. Navarra will be tasted, presented by their producers, in close encounters that invite you to listen to the personal story behind each bottle. "Navarra en Origen" is not just a tasting: it is a sensory and emotional experience that highlights the human component of wine, its land and its culture. "Navarra en Origen" is born with a vocation of continuity and expansion.

Its format is easily extrapolated to other locations within Navarra and even beyond the region, offering a replicable formula with the capacity to adapt to different environments and audiences. The first tasting will take place on June 4 at El Santo Food&Club in Tudela. Javito, from Bodegas San Martín, will open the session with Alma de Unx Blanco 2024, followed by José Luis Tello, from Bodegas Dominio Lasierpe, who will present Flor de Lasierpe Rosado 2024. Kepa Sagastizábal, from Bodegas Marco Real, will present Marco Real Pequeñas Producciones Rosé Blush 2024, while Tomás Santos, from Finca La Cantera, will talk about his wine YA 2024. The tasting will be closed by Josu Amatria, from Amatria Vinos y Viñedos, with the red Zarapuz 2022.

The second appointment will be on June 12 at Bar Sobrino in Elizondo, where again Alma de Unx Blanco 2024 will be tasted, presented by Javito, from Bodegas San Martín, and Marco Real Pequeñas Producciones Rosé Blush 2024, by Kepa Sagastizábal, from Bodegas Marco Real. They will be joined by David Palacios, from Viña Palacios, with El Arrebol de la Carra Cabra 2023, as well as Javier Alcaide, from Bodegas Pagos de Araiz, who will present Pagos de Araiz Tinto Roble 2022. Finally, Rebeca Lecumberri, from Bodega Eslava, will introduce Malagata Garnacha 2022 to the attendees. The experience will be completed with three pinchos made with Reyno Gourmet products, which will harmonize with the selected wines, and a final shared glass, designed to continue the conversation in a relaxed atmosphere. The ticket price is 20 euros and tickets can be purchased through the website www.navarrawine.com and on the social networks of the official profile @vinosnavarra.

"To give a voice to the wineries is to give a voice to the people who, day by day, interpret wine from the land. No one better than them can tell, with such passion and authenticity, what it means to make wine in the D.O. Navarra. We believe that the first connection must be with our people: that those who live in Navarra know, value and enjoy the wines of their region and those who make them possible", says David Palacios, president of the Control Board of the D.O. Navarra.

The initiative is organized by the Regulatory Council of the D.O. Navarra, in collaboration with Reyno Gourmet, and is supported by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) and the Government of Navarra.
