Countdown to the opening of #WineCom

Nov 2, 2021

- The Navarra D.O. brings together some of the best professionals in the communication and wine sector on November 12.

- The conference will be held at the Faculty of Communication of the University of Navarra, which collaborates in the project, and also virtually.

How does post-pandemic communication work? What influence can it have on the wine sector? How can a local winery become global? These are some of the questions that #WineCom, the first Communication and Wine Congress of the D.O. Navarra, aims to answer at its inauguration on November 12.

This event will bring together at the Faculty of Communication of the University of Navarra, which collaborates in this ambitious project, the best professionals in the communication and wine sector to learn about the situation of post-pandemic wine communication. It will also be possible to attend the conference virtually through its website: winecom.org.

The D.O. Navarra seeks to learn first-hand about the evolution of communication after the pandemic. A tool that serves wineries of all kinds to revalue themselves and add value to their wines. However, the Designation of Origin invites the general public to learn about the future of the wine sector and communication through people from outside the wine world who provide a different vision.

The day will revolve around four blocks: content creation, influencer marketing, online sales communication and the brand as a communication element.

The speakers and collaborators of the conference will be Pedro Blanco, deputy director and presenter of "Hoy por hoy" of Cadena SER, José Luis Orihuela, PhD in Information Sciences and professor at the Faculty of Communication at the University of Navarra, Ramón Piqué, storyteller and creative, who has worked with brands such as Adidas, Nike and Estrella Damm, among others, Jamie Goode, wine columnist for The Sunday Express, Patricia San Miguel, academic coordinator of the Executive Master in Fashion Business Management at ISEM Fashion Business School, Heini Zachariassen, founder and board member of Vivino, María Ibañez, creator of the firm Alfombras Étnicas, Marc Morillas, CEO of Morillas Brand Design, and Daniel Morales and Javier Euba, founders of Moruba Graphic Design. For the closing of the Congress we will have the intervention of Itziar Gómez, Counselor of Rural Development and Environment.

Interested parties can access winecom.org and get their tickets for the congress.
