Navarra toasts on the D.O. Wine Movement Day.

Pamplona will host on May 12th the toast proposed by D.O. Navarra to celebrate this event, which will take place simultaneously in 29 wine appellations of origin. 

The Regulatory Council of the Navarra Designation of Origin celebrates the second edition of the in the Plaza de los Burgos of Pamplona D.O. Wine Movement Day which will take place on May 12. The community of “Navarra Wine Lovers(Navarra wine lovers) will gather for a collective toast at 1:30 PM in a festive atmosphere. In this way, the D.O. Navarra joins the event organized by the Spanish Conference of Wine Regulatory Councils (CECRV) and promoted by 29 wine-growing appellations that unite in defense of a common goal.  

The objective of this simultaneous celebration, taking place for the second consecutive year nationwide, is to praise the virtues of wines with a designation of origin and to assert their attributes. Their qualities lie, on the one hand, in being a guarantee of quality that benefits increased value. Wines with a D.O. express the authenticity, identity, and culture of the people because they protect an origin that bestows these distinguishing characteristics. On the other hand, designations of origin anchor the population in rural areas and foster activity in territories with landscape value, while also preserving the environment. Furthermore, they are an endorsement of food safety to promote a healthy lifestyle, always advocating for moderate consumption.From the D.O. Navarra, we defend the social, economic, and cultural interests of the Denominations of Origin and the exercise of their work. The foral capital will host this event, where the simple gesture of toasting will be performed as a festive expression in a musically-themed setting. Furthermore, to reward attendance, a raffle for Navarra Wine Lovers kits will be held among all those who have previously confirmed their attendance.
