The Baja Montaña Winery Group presents the Premier Tinto Garnacha 2018, selected by the Navarra Sommelier Association.
Bodegas Máximo Abete, Bodegas Beramendi, Bodegas San Martín, Bodegas Aristu, Bodega de Sada, Bodega de Liédena, and Bodegas Olimpia form the Association of Wineries of Low Mountain, one of the areas into which the Navarra Designation of Origin is divided. This area is characterized by its noble red wines, mostly Garnacha, and the production of delicious rosés made from the same grape variety. With strong Pyrenean influence, its orography is dramatic, and its vineyards give rise to fresh mountain wines.
On Thursday, November 22nd, La Vinoteca de Pamplona will present the first edition of Premier, a Garnacha red wine from the 2018 vintage, chosen in a blind tasting by the Navarra Sommeliers Association. The edition is limited to 2,000 bottles and will be the representative showcasing the particular characteristics produced after the latest harvest from the region's wines, which has nearly 1,500 hectares of vineyard, with approximately 60%% dedicated to growing Garnacha.
