The 24 medals won by wineries of the D.O. Navarra at the winter tasting of the international wine competition Berliner Wein Trophy held in Germany certify them in foreign trade.
The International Wine Competition Berliner Wein Trophy A new edition of the winter tasting has recently been held in Germany. This is one of the most recognized competitions for its strict rules, whereby only 30% of the wines presented receive awards. Furthermore, it has the backing and sponsorship of the International Organisation of Vine and Wine (OIV). This time, a jury composed of 250 experts from around the world evaluated 7,220 samples presented by 120 wine-growing regions. As a result of this tasting, 18 wines from the D.O. Navarra have been recognized with 20 gold medals and 4 silver medals.
