Navarra attends its appointment with Prowein

The international wine fair celebrates its 25th anniversary in the German city of Düsseldorf from March 17th to 19th. The Regulatory Council, together with INTIA-Reyno Gourmet, is promoting an institutional stand that will host 17 wineries.   

Prowein It is celebrated in Dusseldorf (Germany) from March 17 to 19 and has a long history and relevance. This year it celebrates its 25th anniversary, reaching great magnitudes that make it the main international wine showcase. Last year, it hosted more than 60,000 professionals from 133 countries, who were received by nearly 7,000 exhibitors from 64 producing regions worldwide. For this reason, the D.O.Navarra attends the event again, promoting along with INTIA-Reyno Gourmet, the brand that protects agri-food products with quality certification from the Chartered Community, an institutional stand where 17 wineries will be present: Winery InurrietaAlex Quality VineyardsWineries Monjardín CastleWarehouse of SadaWineries Vega del CastilloAliaga VineyardWineries OchoaZorzal Vineyard WinesWineries AsensioTandem, Wineries Marquis of MontecierzoWineries FoothillsWineries Quaderna Via, Wineries Antón Agirre-UbetaWineries OlympiaWineries and Vineyards Alzania Wineries Blue and Garnet.

The display space D.O. Navarra (10/A52 and 10/A62) will host a large wine bar where visitors can sample nearly fifty wines freely from the mentioned wineries, as well as: Bodegas Corellanas, Bodegas Camilo Castilla, Bodegas Marco Real, Bodega de Sarría, Bodega Otazu, Bodega San Martín, Bodegas Máximo Abete, Unsi, and Finca La Cantera de Santa Ana. Additionally, the stand will feature a meeting and networking point, a meeting point that will bring together all fans of wines from the Denomination of Origin, the Navarra Wine Lovers. " The Regulatory Council is making a strong commitment to this fair, which boasts one of the highest participations from our wineries. Alemania mantiene su posición como segundo mercado internacional en el que se comercializan los vinos de la D.O. Navarra, sólo por detrás de China que ocupa el primer puesto. El año pasado se exportaron al país germano cerca de dos millones de litros de vino de 45 bodegas. De ellos, el 55% son tintos, el 30% son rosados que han experimentado un notable aumento en sus ventas (más de un 30%) y los vinos blancos representan un 15% de las exportaciones totales.
