The Cazuelica and D.O. Navarra Wine Week is back!
From October 6 to 15, 2023, Navarra will host the twenty-second edition of the Cazuelica and Wine Week D.O. Navarra. A fundamental gastronomic event in the agendas of all those who enjoy gastronomy and the art of good eating and drinking.
This year 37 establishments of Navarra will participate offering their casseroles harmonized with the suggestion of a wine D.O. Navarra. The Regulatory Council of the Designation of Origin of Navarra is the official sponsor of these days organized by the Association of Hospitality and Tourism of Navarra.
After 22 editions, the concept of cazuelica is linked to the traditional gastronomy, the one of always, the one cooked with love and care, without haste, that reminds us of the way our grandmothers used to cook. A gastronomic jewel that combines perfectly with the great variety and quality of wines from the Denomination of Origin Navarra.
The Cazuelica and D.O. Navarra Wine Week is a reminder of the importance of keeping culinary tradition alive, preserving authentic flavors and valuing the legacy of traditional cuisine that continues to enrich our lives.
The 37 participating bars and restaurants will present a single cazuelica in the contest organized to reward the best preparations. A 84% of the cazuelicas presented are suitable for coeliacs. The price of the cazuelica will be set by the establishments themselves and will be between 2.60 and 3 euros.
In parallel, the AEHN is organizing the "Musicata with Navarra D.O. Wines".
After last year's success, the Hotel and Tourism Association of Navarra is once again organizing "la musicata", a guided tasting of Navarra D.O. wines, accompanied by live saxophone music.
The tasting instructor Pedro Bujanda and the saxophonist Fernando Sanchez will taste 4 wines from the Designation of Origin Navarra accompanied by saxophone music in a beautiful setting, the porch of the Hotel Pamplona Catedral.
Day: Tuesday, October 10.
