The D.O. Navarra, together with six wineries, has had a notable presence in the wine fair where it has also been one of the sponsors. A special edition that represents the reactivation of this type of event after the break suffered due to the pandemic.
The twentieth edition of the Verema Experience Valencia where the D.O. Navarra was present along with six wineries has meant the reactivation of these events after more than a year of hiatus due to the pandemic. The Verema Experience began on Thursday, July 15 with a tasting sponsored by the D.O. Navarra where Javier Santafé, managing director of the Control Board, proposed a journey through the region through the different rosés presented at the tasting: Pagos de Araiz Rosado 2020, Aroa Larrosa 2020 and Finca Lasierpe Rosado 2020.
On Friday, July 16, in a spectacular setting, the Hotel Balneario Las Arenas, hosted throughout the day the numerous visitors who passed through the various pavilions to enjoy and discover new wines. The attending wineries were the following: Bodegas Aliaga, Bodega Pagos de Araiz, Bodega Pago de Cirsus, Bodegas Irache, Bodegas Príncipe de Viana and Bodegas Valcarlos. The public appreciated the good weather and the unbeatable location that put the icing on the cake to a very positive day. Among the visitors to the event were professionals from the sector, wine enthusiasts and individuals from different areas of the peninsula and also from abroad.
The D.O. Navarra and the wineries were praised by the professionals, where it is worth mentioning the evaluation made during the tasting by Maximiliano Bao, sommelier and Nariz de Oro a los Navarra: ".I would like to thank the Navarra D.O. wines for maintaining the essence and personality that has always characterized them.". Javier Santafé values positively the participation and presence of Navarre in this type of meetings: "We are very pleased to see that the Navarrese are participating in this type of meeting.Events such as the Verema Experience help us to continue placing Navarra D.O. wines on the wine map and in the minds of consumers.".
