Navarra Wine & Burger Route

The Regulatory Council of the D.O. Navarra proposes for the month of February a fun harmony of special hamburgers with Navarra wines in more than 20 bars and restaurants in Pamplona and the surrounding area.  

In the month of February, the Navarra D.O. offers the opportunity to enjoy the Wine & Burger Route which visits more than 20 establishments in Pamplona and the surrounding area. It is an itinerary between the most special hamburgers, selected by the participants, and a glass of D.O. Navarra wine from the different wineries of the Denomination, at the proposal of each establishment. The action is part of the Control Board's strategy that seeks to enhance the value of wine in the usual places of leisure and demystify its consumption. "Wine accompanies all kinds of meals, dishes and gastronomy. No need to wait to eat a plate of roe deer to open a bottle of wine. For a hamburger we will find a great companion in a glass of wine, which will also enhance it."said the president of the D.O. Navarra, David Palacios.  

The Wine & Burger Route aims to demonstrate that one of the most international foods of our contemporary gastronomy, such as the hamburger, combines perfectly with one of the most unique beverages, such as wine. The most "gourmet" hamburger is in fashion and has become a great alternative for lunches and dinners with friends or family. These are the ones offered by the establishments participating in this initiative. Proposals that are all different and have a careful elaboration to obtain a quality gastronomic alternative. Thus, for one month, the D.O. Navarra encourages "take the road and blanket and make the engine of the senses roar."touring Pamplona and its region.

In this way, the Regulatory Council of the D.O. Navarra begins the promotional activities planned for this year in relation to the hotel and catering industry in the region to highlight the different wines produced in the territory: exciting whites, famous rosés and honest reds.
