"My people have D. O. N: stories of life and wine", new podcast with D. O. Navarra
The Control Board of the D. O. Navarra launches the first chapter of its new podcast collection "Mi gente tiene D. O. N: relatos de vida y vino" ("My people have D. O. N: stories of life and wine"), an informative series on current issues in the wine sector narrated from the personal perspective of its protagonists with an emotional approach.
The D. O. Navarra Regulatory Board is launching its new podcast collection "My people have D. O. N: stories of life and wine". With this set of audio chapters, the Navarra Denomination of Origin offers the listener the opportunity to enter the world of wine from the hand of its protagonists, through their experiences, their personal stories told in a subjective and intimate way.
"My people have D. O. N: stories of life and wine". addresses current issues such as the importance of identity and territory, sustainability, communication or the essential role of women in the vineyard throughout history. The first chapter "Vineyard caretakers." starring winemakers Julián Palacios and David Palacios, who is also the president of the Regulatory Council of the D. O. Navarra, is dedicated to this profession marked by absolute respect, love and commitment to the vineyard. A propitious theme to inaugurate this compendium of stories, since the vineyard is the origin of wine. The role of the winegrower is fundamental; he is the essential link in the winemaking chain that takes care of the vineyard that future generations will inherit. For this reason, they are the protagonists accredited to transmit their knowledge and experiences in the vineyard environment. This initial episode is an excellent example of the character of this anthology that aims to connect intimately with its listeners and promote the knowledge and culture of wine. The different episodes will feature the participation of relevant people who play a leading role in the day-to-day work of the wine industry. In short, they are lives of wine.
