The Control Board presents its promotional video Navarra Wine Colors with a master tasting in which the region was toured through the colors of its white, rosé and red wines.
A hundred people attended the presentation of the promotional video of the D.O. Navarra that will accompany it in its promotional activities. "Navarra Wine Colors" is a tour of the region through the chromatic code of the white, rosé and red wines made in the region. "We travel through the cultural, scenic and gastronomic richness through the color of the wines that blend with ours, because wine is intimately related to our history, customs and people. This is what we want to demonstrate through this audiovisual piece."The president of the Regulatory Council of the D.O. Navarra, David Palacios, affirms.
This natural union of wine with its environment and territory was demonstrated in the master tasting that was led by the winemaker, Pilar García-Granero with the painter, Pedro Salaberri and the chef, Enrikito Martínez Burón. "The variety of wines of our land is a real pleasure for the oenophile and a treasure that makes the D.O. Navarra one of the most special. Its colors are not only present in them but also in our landscapes", said García-Granero. Salaberri highlighted the "light" color of the rosé and, through the suggestive nuances of the white, took the attendees to the Navarrese Ribera. Martínez Burón, highlighted the gastronomic possibilities of the wines and their close relationship. "I can't imagine enjoying our vegetables without a rosé. which for me is the star wine". he pointed out while encouraging the audience to break the rules. The event, held at the Navarre Institute of Public Administration (INAP) in Pamplona, was attended by various representatives of the wine sector and the political and cultural spheres of Navarre. The Director of Tourism Marketing of the Government of Navarra, Ana Lizarraga, highlighted the importance of gastronomy and wine as attractions for visitors and tourism promoters in the region.
The Regional Minister of Rural Development, Environment and Local Administration, Isabel Elizalde, was in charge of closing the event. Elizalde highlighted the relevance of the local product and the values that Navarre has that identify it and give it personality. "A legacy that has been passed down from generation to generation and that we must protect for the future."said the Councilor.
