Navarra, in the future of rosé

The Designation of Origin Navarra participates in a round table on rosé wine and its future within the framework of the London Wine Fair held in the English capital.    

The managing director of the Regulatory Council of the Designation of Origin Navarra, Javier Santafé, participates in the round table organized within the framework of the London Wine Fair in the English capital with the title: ".Pink perspectives: the future of Rosé"(Pink perspectives: the future of rosé). It analyzed the trends of this type of wine from the point of view of its commercialization, marketing and product. The speakers offered different opinions. Santafé defended the identity of Navarra rosé. The wine that puts the Designation of Origin on the world wine map, which was invited for its historical traditional production of rosé together with another French region.

The rosé Navarra is distinguished by its careful elaboration by the method of "bleeding" by which, without applying the pressing, the first must obtained from the grapes is collected by gravity, breaking when falling into the tank. Its sales rose by more than 3,10% over the same period of the previous year with a marked prominence of the domestic market.
