From October 6 to 15, the 22nd Week of the Cazuelica and Wine D.O. Navarraorganized by the Association of Hospitality and Tourism of Navarra and sponsored by the Regulatory Council of the Designation of Origin of Navarra.
On October 18, the finalist Jury formed by Goiza Isiegas, cook of the Bar Akari Gastroteka in Pamplona, José Topero, chef of the Topero Restaurant in Tudela and David Palacios, president of the D.O. Navarra Regulatory Council ten cazuelicas were tasted. The winners were the following:
First prize, Gold Category, was awarded to La Hacienda de Mutilva. For its "Marmitako de atún" casserole with the recommended wine Príncipe de Viana Cabernet Sauvignon 2022.
Second prize, Silver Categorywas awarded to Bodega Castillo de Monjardín Restaurant. For its "Morrocotuda" casserole with the recommended wine Deyo Merlot de Autor 2018.
Third prize, Bronze Category, was awarded to The Huerta de Chica of Pamplona. For its casserole "La corraliza de Chicha" with the recommended wine Strain by strain 2022 of Nekeas.
The Regulatory Council of Wines D.O. Navarrafor the sixth year in a row, awarded the "At the Best Service of Wine". for the Bodega Castillo de Monjardín Restaurant of Villamayor de Monjardín. The winner was presented with as many wine glasses as kilos of wine and an apron of Wines D.O. Navarra, together with a diploma.
The winners of the "Tenth Photography Contest". in the Instagram category and in the Twitter category received diplomas and a lot of 6 bottles of Navarra D.O. wine each.
