Ten wineries of the D.O. Navarra awarded in the last edition of the Quality Contest of Wines with D.O. Navarra organized by the Wine Brotherhood of Navarra.
The Navarre Wine Guild presents the awards for the XXXI Quality Competition of Wines with D.O. Navarra. On this occasion, the Hotel Restaurante Don Carlos in Huarte was the setting for the meeting between the award-winning wineries and the members of the brotherhood.
These awards are the result of tastings held on April 6 and 9 in which nearly one hundred wines were analyzed. The jury was composed of industry professionals, including winemakers, tasters and sommeliers.
The wines awarded in the XXXI edition are the following:
- Best unoaked white wine: Pago de Cirsus Chardonnay 2021. Pago de Cirsus Winery.
- Best white wines with wood: Flor de Chardonnay 2020. Marco Real Winery.
- Best Rosé Wine: Inurrieta Mediodía 2021. Inurrieta Winery.
- Best Red Wine Vintage 2021: Valdelares Tinto Joven 2021. Valdelares Winery.
- Lezaun Tempranillo 2020. Lezaun Winery.
- Best Red Wine other than 2020: Laderas de Inurrieta 2019. Inurrieta Winery.
- Best Red Oak Wine: 1891 Roble 2021. Irache Winery.
- Best Crianza Red Wine - Albret El Balcón. Albret Estate.
- Best Reserve and Grand Reserve Red Wine: Irache Reserva 2016. Irache Winery.
- Best sweet, fortified or liqueur wine: Ochoa Moscatel. Ochoa Winery.
