The D.O. Navarra creates the first ones “Vinos D.O. Navarra Awards in Hospitality 2026” to recognize the hospitality industry and the businesses that rely on their wines.
The D.O. Navarra launches the first edition of the Vinos D.O. Navarra Awards in Hospitality, They were created to recognize the establishments and professionals who bet on the wines of the denomination and contribute to promoting them and giving them value. Restaurants, bars, wine bars, specialized shops and professional service staff They play a fundamental role in bringing wines closer to consumers. With these awards, the D.O. Navarra wants to recognize their commitment, give visibility to good practices, and promote a greater presence of their wines in the hospitality industry and the retail sector, especially in Navarra.
Categories “Vinos D.O. Navarra Awards in Hospitality”
The awards have six categories:
- Ambassador of the D.O. Navarra Table: for restaurants that integrate and promote the wines of the denomination in their gastronomic offering.
- Ambassador of the Barra D.O. Navarra: for bars that promote consumption and discovery.
- D.O. Navarra Sin Fronteras: for establishments outside Navarre that opt for the wines of the denomination.
- Specialized Trade D.O. Navarra: for stores and wine bars that stand out for their marketing and dissemination efforts.
- Alma de la Sala D.O. Navarra: Special mention for room service professionals who contribute to enhancing the value of these wines through their knowledge and customer service.
- Legado D.O. Navarra: Special mention to recognize a distinguished career in the promotion of the wines of the denomination.
Who can submit their candidacy?
The call is addressed to restaurants, bars, specialty shops and wine bars, room service professionals, and individuals or entities with a distinguished track record in the promotion of the D.O. Navarra wines.
Key dates
- Opening of candidacies: October 22, 2026.
- Closing of candidacies: November 23, 2026.
- Communication of finalists: two weeks before the gala.
- Awards ceremony: December 14, 2026, at the Official College of Physicians of Navarre, in Pamplona.
Selection process
The candidacies will be subject to technical validation by the organization and evaluated by an independent jury composed of industry professionals. The finalists will be announced before the gala, where the winners will be announced.
