Navargira: wine, soil and flavor route

Date: September 6 and 13, 2025

The Navarra Wine Route organizes two enogastronomic experiences on Saturdays September 6 and 13 with visits to wineries, local gastronomy and cultural heritage.

September is a month to go back. To school, to the routine and also to the origin. So this month, the Navarra Wine Route organizes Navargira: wine, land and flavor route. A proposal that invites you to discover the heart of the wine-growing region of Navarre through pause and the senses. It does so through the Garnacha Route (Saturday, September 6) and the Chardonnay Route (Saturday, September 13)experiences that travel through unique areas of Zona Media and Tierra Estella, in a commitment to local, sustainable and cultural tourism.

Each day is a journey into the legacy that combines guided visits to wineries, guided tastings, zero-kilometer gastronomy, historical heritage and musical performances in exceptional enclaves. All this with transportation included from Pamplona and a limited capacity per day, to ensure a careful and quality experience. Tickets can already be purchased at the price of 60 euros through the official website of the Navarra Wine Route. Navargira is designed as an experience that values the local product, the memory of the territory and the wine legacy that defines the identity of Navarre.

More than a wine tourism route, it is an invitation to immerse yourself in the flavors, aromas, landscapes and stories that have shaped the history of this land. The proposal is aimed at both the local public and visitors with a sensitivity towards Navarra Denomination of Origin wine, rural culture and natural and architectural heritage.

The Garnacha Route, on September 6, goes into San Martín de Unx, Olite/Erriberri and Tafalla, with activities such as a tour of the vineyard during the harvest at Bodegas Máximo Abete, a visit to Olite/Erriberri and its Royal Palace with the Reyna de Copas, a meal based on local products pairing at Bodegas Marco Real and a musical closing at sunset at the Palacio de los Mencos by the artist Naiara Ruz. For its part, the Chardonnay Route, on September 13, leads to Bodegas Irache, the Truffle Museum of Metauten, Bodegas Lezaun and culminates with a medieval concert in the Romanesque church of Eunate with the troubadour Emilio Arias.

"The two Navargira routes are to taste, admire and listen to what the wine heritage of Navarre has to offer. They represent a commitment to respectful tourism, where each visit is also an encounter with those who conserve and care for the territory." Cristina Bayona, coordinator of the Consorcio de Zona Media, the managing entity of the Navarra Wine Route, pointed out.
