More than 400 people enjoy the return of Vinofest Navarra to Tudela in an edition marked by a great atmosphere and public enthusiasm.
This weekend, a new edition of Vinofest Navarra took place in Tudela, an event organized by the Regulatory Council of the D.O. Navarra. The event returned to the capital of the Ribera region with an excellent reception from the public. More than 400 people attended the gathering held in the Castel Ruiz Courtyard of the Municipal Conservatory of Music “Fernando Remacha,” a setting that became the perfect stage to enjoy D.O. Navarra wines on a day that felt more like summer than spring. Despite the high temperatures recorded throughout the day, the heat did not prevent residents of Tudela from responding enthusiastically to the call of the Navarra Designation of Origin and actively participating in an event that once again demonstrated the great interest in the Ribera region for D.O. Navarra wines and the stories behind each winery and project. The atmosphere evolved throughout the day. During the morning session, attendees showed a particular interest in discovering wines, conversing with wineries, and learning firsthand about their projects, winemaking processes, and wine tourism proposals. In the afternoon, Vinofest Navarra transformed into a great afternoon gathering, with a more festive and relaxed atmosphere, where attendees enjoyed wines accompanied by music and an unbeatable ambiance.
The ten participating wineries —Bodegas Malón de Echaide, Bodegas Marco Real, Dominio Lasierpe, Bodegas Piedemonte, Pago de Cirsus, Bodegas Irache, Bodegas Gran Feudo, Viña Zorzal, Bodegas Máximo Abete, and Bodega de Sada— They gave a very positive assessment of the event and highlighted the importance of bringing their wines and projects closer to the public in Tudela and throughout the Ribera region. For the wineries, holding an event of this nature in the capital of the Ribera represents a great opportunity to strengthen contact with a strategic area and with consumers who are increasingly interested in discovering and enjoying D.O. Navarra wines. The public, for their part, particularly appreciated the revival of Vinofest Navarra in Tudela, giving a very positive assessment of the opportunity to once again enjoy an event dedicated exclusively to wines from the Navarra Designation of Origin in their own city. Many of the attendees highlighted the attractiveness of the format and the opportunity it represents to discover new references and get to know Navarra wineries up close. Another highlighted aspect of this edition was the setting in which the event took place. The Castel Ruiz Courtyard of the Municipal Conservatory of Music offered a unique setting, with wineries serving their wines under the building's vaults and an open-air courtyard surrounded by orange trees that became the ideal space to enjoy wine and conversation. The musical ambiance provided by DJ Moreira completed a magical day in which D.O. Navarra wine was the undisputed protagonist.
The manager of the Regulatory Council of the D.O. Navarra, Puy Trigueros, highlighted the importance of holding these types of initiatives in Tudela and in the Ribera: It is imperative to bring the wines and projects that make up our appellation closer to the public and present them directly. In addition to offering them the opportunity to experience a great event in Tudela, our goal is to ensure that more and more people, when they go to a bar or restaurant, ask for a Navarra D.O. wine because they feel it is the wine of their land and because they know they are delicious. But for that, they first have to get to know them.
