The international wine competition Berliner Wine Trophy is celebrating its summer edition and awarding ten gold and two silver medals to wines with the Navarra Designation of Origin.
It is the twenty-fourth edition of the renowned German international wine competition. Berliner Wine TrophyAccording to the organization, the summer edition has exceeded expectations in terms of participating wines due to the special conditions caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. In total, more than 6,000 samples arrived from forty countries. Of these, the jury, which blind tasted for eleven days, has awarded twelve wines from the Navarra Designation of Origin. Of these, ten with gold medals and two with silver which reinforce the arrival of autumn in the wineries that produce them. Thus the D.O. Navarra it is recognized beyond its borders in the main wine competitions held around the world.
