 Navarra stands out in the list of winners of Challenge International du Vin 2025

 A rosé from the Navarra Denomination of Origin, Aliaga Lágrima de Garnacha 2024, wins the top award in the rosé category of the prestigious French competition. 

Olite, April 23_. The Challenge International du Vin, a competition organized in France and pioneer of international competitions, has recognized in its 49th edition, the good work of the wineries of the D.O. Navarra, awarding this Designation of Origin more than a dozen medals in the Gold and Silver categories. In addition, the winery Viña Aliaga has won the highest award in the rosé category with the wine Aliaga Lágrima de Garnacha 2024, obtaining the absolute special mention among all the wines presented in the competition. Once again, this award attests to the international recognition of D.O. Navarra rosé wines. 

The jury, composed of more than three hundred professionals of eleven different nationalities, has been in charge of blind tasting more than one thousand nine hundred samples from more than twenty countries to award medals to the winning wines. The following are the D.O. Navarra wines that have won medals in the gold and silver categories in the 2025 edition of this prestigious competition:

Navarra is the Spanish region of rosé par excellence, leader in sales in the national market according to the latest Nielsen data. D.O. Navarra rosés are fresh, light and very versatile. They are mostly made with Garnacha Tinta and with the bleeding method, a guarantee of maximum quality. Due to its tradition, Navarra is at the forefront in the production of rosés, young or aged, which gives them greater complexity and ageing capacity.
