Navarra wins 39 medals at IWSC

The Denomination of Origin thus expands its extensive medal collection in the international wine competition held in the United Kingdom. 

The International Wine & Spirit Competition is celebrating its 49th edition, which saw wines from nearly 90 countries presented and tasted over 7 months by a jury of 400 experts. The British competition recognized 39 wines from the Navarra Denominación de Origen.

The Department has stated that a jury composed of professionals from the wine sector participated in the granting of this award, and they chose the winners from among the wines with the highest scores in the Bacchus International Contest 2018 in which Altos de Inurrieta 2014 wine was recognized with a Grand Bacchus de Oro.
