The Regulatory Council presented the awards in an official ceremony held in the refectory of the Pamplona Cathedral with the attendance of 150 people, which served as the debut for the newly elected Selection. 

After a reception at the Pamplona Cathedral and a visit to its most notable sites, the Regulatory Council will hold the official ceremony for the delivery of the 2019 D.O. Navarra Best Wine Awards in an impressive refectory with the attendance of around one hundred and fifty guests, including authorities, representatives from the political and social landscape of the Chartered Community, wineries, and producers of the Navarra Designation of Origin. The president of D.O. Navarra, David Palacios, welcomed attendees and, after praising the quality of the wines submitted to the competition, called for greater support for the wine sector and designations of origin from political actors, the region's executive authorities, and society itself. Furthermore, he requested greater involvement from wineries and producers with their Designation of Origin to unite efforts towards a common goal. Subsequently, one by one, the award winners collected their diplomas and a wine rack from the D.O. Navarra as a gift designed by Iosu Rada. The awards correspond to the different categories of wines produced in the region: Best D.O. Navarra White Wine: Castillo de Monjardín Chardonnay 2018Best D.O. Navarra Rosé Wine Viña Zorzal Rosado 2018Best Young Red Wine D.O. Navarra Lezaun Tempranillo 2018Best D.O. Navarra Red Wine (Oak Aged) (tie): Finca El Espartal Oak 2014 Palacio de Sada Garnacha Roble 2017. Best Wine D.O. Navarra Red Crianza: Castillo de Monjardín Origen Crianza 2016Best D.O. Navarra Red Wine Reserva: Albret Lastra Reserve 2014Best D.O. Navarra Sweet White Wine: Ochoa Moscatel 2017Best Barrel-Aged White Wine D.O. The closing of the event was carried out by the Minister of Rural Development, Environment and Local Administration of the Government of Navarre, Isabel Elizalde, who emphasized the effort made by the Government of Navarre to increase support for the promotion of Navarrese wines, "The sector faces market challenges, vine diseases, and adaptation to climate change as major hurdles.. In his/her/their opinion, “The research, recovery, and enhancement of wine heritage is essential. It can provide typicality and personality and a better response to global warming. EVENA is working on this with the old vine project.".
