Two Baco with D.O. Navarra

Ochoa Moscatel Vendimia Tardía wins a Grand Gold Bacchus and Hacienda Uvanis Garnacha red a Gold Bacchus at the UEC awards. 

The Bacchus Awards, organized by the Spanish Tasters Union (UEC). The competition involves 65 jurors and is an examination of young wines from the latest vintage, in this case 2018. Alicante, next June 18, and Madrid, on June 26, will host a new edition of the Hall of the Best Young Wines of Spain, where a selection of medal winners can be tasted.

Two wines from the Designation of Origin Navarra have won two awards. Ochoa Moscatel Vendimia Tardía 2018 from Bodegas Ochoa has been awarded a Gran Baco de Oro, the highest distinction. On the other hand, Hacienda Uvanis Garnacha Tinto 2018 from Bodegas San Martín has been awarded a Gold Bacchus.
