La Cofradía del Vino de Navarra convoca una nueva edición de su certamen literario que abarca dos modalidades: narrativa y poesía.
Se trata de la edición decimoséptima del concurso que orgraniza la Cofradía del Vino de Navarra “con el fin de animar a la producción literaria, así como ensalzar la Denominación de Origen Navarra y resaltar los vínculos del mundo del vino con la cultura.
En el certamen puede participar todas las personas mayores de 18 años y los trabajos deben tener como tema la cultura del vino. Se establecen dos modalidades:
– Narrativa. “Olite, ciudad de vino” – Ayuntamiento de Olite.
Premiado con 1.200 euros y un lote de vino D.O. Navarra.
– Poesía. “Vino Navarra” – Consejo Regulador de la D.O. Navarra.
Premiado con 1.200 euros y un lote de vino D.O. Navarra.
El plazo de presentación de las obras está abierto desde el 15 de octubre de 2020 al 15 de enero de 2021 a las 24 horas. La entrega de premios se celebrará en el Palacio de Olite (Olite, Navarra) el 14 de frebrero de 2021.

The Spanish Association of Wine Cities (ACEVIN)), has announced the fifth edition of the wine tourism awards. "Wine routes of Spain".. These biennial awards seek to publicly recognize the work of companies and territories in the development and continuous enrichment of the wine tourism offer of the country and the effort made for that purpose. All the establishments and institutions that are part of the Wine Routes of Spain product club, whose activity is related to wine tourism, have been presented.
Currently, the club is made up of 31 destinations located throughout the country, including the Navarra Wine Route; it brings together more than 2,200 companies, of which nearly 700 are wineries. The competition is made up of fourteen categories to which a total of 75 proposals have been submitted, coming from 19 candidates from the 31 Wine Routes.
Thus, the jury decided to award Otazu Winerythe recognition of Best Winery Open to Tourism. "For being a winery that places the world of wine at the same cultural level as the great works of contemporary art, and for its profound expression of the union of wine with history, nature and art; as well as for promoting a wide variety of wine tourism activities and encounters between artists and other cultural agents, fusing art and wine in the winery itself.".
The Navarra Wine Route has received the special mention as Best Sustainable and Responsible Wine Tourism Destination for its sustainable development. The jury was made up of professionals representing the Administration, the wine and tourism sectors, the press, as well as wine tourism critics and experts of recognized prestige.
