D.O. Navarra Territory
5 zones, 5 unique terroirs
D.O. Navarra, region of contrasts.
One hundred kilometers cross Navarre from north to south. A short distance that, nevertheless, treasures a astonishing richness of contrasts.
To the norththe Navarrese Pyrenees with legendary, cool, and rainy forests and valleys, a reflection of Atlantic climate. To the south, the dry plains of the banks of the Ebro River and the lunar landscape of the Bardenas Reales, under the influence of the Mediterranean climate.
This mix of climatic and scenic influences makes Navarre a unique and exceptional region with five distinct terroirs Each with its own personality: Tierra Estella, Valdizarbe, Baja Montaña, Ribera Alta and Ribera Baja.
In the north, with a humid climate, are Tierra Estella, Valdizarbe, and Baja Montaña. In the Middle Zone, considered transitional, Ribera Alta is located, and to the south, with a semi-arid climate, Ribera Baja.
– Privileged location in northern Spain.
– Vineyards at the highest latitude in the country.
– Exceptional confluence of climates: Atlantic and Mediterranean.
– More than 8,000 hectares of vineyards.
