From February 5 to 7, Barcelona Wine Week will take place, the first international fair of reference in the wine sector in the calendar, which will include the representation of about thirty wineries of the Designation of Origin Navarra and the presence of the Regulatory Council.
Barcelona Wine Week (BWW), the leading Spanish wine fair, is facing its most ambitious edition with the participation of more than 850 wineries that will present the highest quality products of the national market to more than 20,000 professional visitors, confirming itself as a unique event in Spain for the dynamization and internationalization of the sector. For this reason, the D.O. Navarra Regulatory Council and its wineries renew their participation in this fair, which will be held from February 5 to 7 at the fairgrounds of Montjuïc of the Fira de Barcelona.
Once again, in this edition, the Control Board is participating in the grouped area of the Denomination of Origin Navarra organized by INTIA-Reyno Gourmet and it does so with a stand offering Garnacha rosés and reds under the slogan "Garnacha". "Wines D.O. Navarra, born to please".. In this space, the D.O. Navarra will invite you to get to know these wines from different wineries. The vindication of the rosés and wines made from Red Grenache is the result of the brand's current strategic positioning to win back markets. This spearhead represents a back to the origin since its fundamental axes are the wines rosésleaders in the Spanish market with a 30% of the total market share and referents for this color in the international market; the Grenacheas emblematic grape variety of the region and an interesting attraction for amateurs and professionals in the sector, given the growing interest in this native variety; and the freshness The cross-cutting nature of all the processing provided by the privileged enclave of Navarra to the north of the Iberian Peninsula. Thus, visitors to the stand C173 of the D.O. Navarra will be able to tour the landscapes of the different areas that make up this appellation: Tierra Estella, Valdizarbe, Baja Montaña, Ribera Alta and Ribera Baja, through their wines. Currently, the D.O. Navarra has close to 2,600 hectares of vineyards of Grenache in which almost 16,000,000 kg were harvested in the last harvest. The Grenache is used to produce a large part of the famous rosé Navarra and the FRESH REDS Atlantic character from the northernmost vineyards of the country.

In this edition, in the area promoted by INTIA-Reyno Gourmet at BWW Lands, will be present: Sada Winery, Inurrieta Winery, Marqués de Montecierzo Winery, Asensio Winery, Malón de Echaide Winery, Bodegas Príncipe de Viana, Alzania wineries and vineyards, Castillo de Monjardín, Liédena Winery (Liskar Wines), Nekeas, Señorío de Sarría, Tandem, Ubeta Wines y Aliaga Vineyard.
