Wine tourism in Navarra for Easter Week

Navarra is a privileged enclave for wine tourism thanks to its great cultural, scenic and gastronomic richness and the fact that it is the cradle of the D.O. Navarra. The arrival of spring and Easter are the right time to visit and enjoy its famous rosé wines, its emblematic Garnacha and the freshness of all its elaborations due to its position on the map.  

Vinofest will be held in Pamplona on April 12th and 13th, with the participation of about twenty wineries that will offer tastings of their new white, rosé, and red wines. These wineries also offer an attractive program of activities for the coming days to enjoy wine where it is produced and meet the people who make it and their stories and experiences.  

In Olite, you can find Marco Real Winery where you are invited to a winery tour with a tasting of three wines. In addition to visiting the Aroma Room: a journey through 46 types of wine aromas to test olfactory abilities in a didactic and fun way, and to learn all about corks.

In San Martín de Unx, it is located Máximo Abete Winery where they propose four different wine tourism experiences. They offer thematic tastings and "tardeo" (late afternoon gatherings with wine and snacks) on weekends and holidays. For groups of 20 or more people, there's an option to experience the Tipi-Kata Experience. In the same town, San Martin Winery Experience "Alma de Unx" offers a chance to discover the evolution of such an exciting and unconventional project, and to taste their new range of wines. 

In Lácar, it is located Lezaun Wineryoffers a guided tour of the winery with an explanation of winemaking tradition and the current production process. A tour through the different areas of the winery: production, aging, and bottling. During the visit, two wines from Bodegas Lezaun will be tasted. Castillo de Monjardín Winery offers a visit to the winery with wine and olive oil tasting and a paired meal at the winery's restaurant, located in Villamayor de Monjardín. 

In the town of Ayegui is located Irache Wineryoffer tastings of some of the year's wines and tours of the winery facilities, which house a wine museum with over 200 historical pieces. South of Navarra, in the towns of Cascante, Carcastillo, and Ablitas, you'll find the Malón de Echaide WineryBlue and Garanza Wineries y Pago de Cirsus respectively. There you can opt for a guided tour of the winery and a final wine tasting.
