In this context, the D.O. Navarra renews once again its presence at this fair, to be held at the Montju\u00efc exhibition center of Fira de Barcelona, betting on a wide representation of its winemaking network and a master tasting of high level reflecting the quality of the wines of this region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>The Control Board will be present in the grouped area of Navarra, organized by INTIA, with its own stand (C243) designed as an enoteca and a meeting and information space for professional visitors. The stand will showcase Navarra's wine identity and offer tastings of a careful selection of wines from the participating wineries, with the aim of highlighting the diversity, typicity and quality of their wines. The D.O. Navarra will focus especially on white, ros\u00e9 and red wines made with Garnacha, as well as its ros\u00e9s, historical emblem of the appellation and internationally recognized, highlighting messages linked to the origin, authenticity and freshness provided by its unique location in the north of the Iberian Peninsula, where some of the most northerly vineyards in the country are located. Those who come to the D.O. Navarra space will be able to travel through the tasting through the landscapes and particularities of the five areas that make up the appellation: Tierra Estella, Valdizarbe, Baja Monta\u00f1a, Ribera Alta and Ribera Baja.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\"Barcelona Wine Week is today the largest showcase of Spanish wine in the world and an unmissable event for any appellation with an international vocation. Navarra cannot miss this event, because it is the ideal place to show all the potential of a region that is producing some of the best wines in its history. Year after year we see how professionals, both national and international, come to our stand, especially interested in our Garnachas and our ros\u00e9s, great signs of identity of the D.O. Navarra. This growing interest is also reflected in the master tasting of great wines that we present in the program of activities of this edition, selected and directed by the renowned international critic Beth Willard, whose places were sold out weeks before the start of the fair\", says David Palacios, president of the Control Board of the D.O. Navarra.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>In this edition, 20 wineries will participate in the grouped space, among them <strong>Bodegas Alconde, Bodega de Sada, Bodega Eslava, Bodega Inurrieta, Bodega Ozalder, Bodega Marqu\u00e9s de Montecierzo, Bodegas Caudal\u00eda, Bodegas Marco Real, Bodegas Ochoa, Bodegas Asensio, Bodegas Mal\u00f3n de Echaide, Grupo Pr\u00edncipe de Viana, Bodegas y Vi\u00f1edos Alzania, Bodegas Castillo de Monjard\u00edn, Nekeas, Bodegas Quaderna Via, Bodega Pagos de Araiz, Tandem, Ubeta Wines and Vi\u00f1a Aliaga In addition, other wineries under the D. O. Navarra will be present in other areas of Navarra.O. Navarra will be present in other areas of the fair with their own stand or within groups, such as Aroa Bodegas, Bodegas M\u00e1ximo Abete, Se\u00f1or\u00edo de Sarr\u00eda, Bodega Pago de Cirsus, Bodegas Irache, Bodegas Escudero - Hacienda Logos, Bodegas Faustino Rivero Ulecia, Bodegas Piedemonte, Navarrsotillo Biodynamic &amp; Organic Wines, Bodegas San Mart\u00edn, Bodegas Pago de Larrainzar, Bodegas Manzanos and Vi\u00f1a Zorzal Wines.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also, as part of the program of activities at Barcelona Wine Week, the DO Navarra will also offer a master tasting entitled \"Great Jewels DO Navarra: Wines that Keep Stories\", which will take place on Tuesday, February 3, from 18:00 to 19:00, in the Sala Pr\u00edncipe. The session, whose capacity was full weeks before the start of the fair, will be led by renowned international taster Beth Willard, who has selected a collection of exceptional wines, hardly gathered anywhere else. Through this tasting, attendees will take a journey through the different areas of Navarra, discovering the landscapes, people and decisions that give character to each wine, in an experience designed for professionals seeking authenticity, emotion, identity and the discovery of wines with great stories. The wine selection includes <strong>Alzania La Cardelina 2021 from Bodegas y Vi\u00f1edos Alzania; Hurac\u00e1n Daniela Cuv\u00e9e 2021 from Bodega San Mart\u00edn de Unx; Pinpilinpauxa de Ubeta 2024 from Ubeta Wines; El Arrebol de la Carracabra 2024 from Vi\u00f1a Palacios; Golerga 2024 from Vi\u00f1a Zorzal; Santa Cruz de Artazu 2023 from Bodegas y Vi\u00f1edos Artazu; Le Naturel Lakar 2020 from Bodegas Aroa; Ochoa Gran Reserva 2015 from Bodegas Ochoa; Pago de Larrainzar Reserva Especial 2014 from Pago de Larrainzar and Chivite Vendimia Tard\u00eda 2023 from Chivite.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participation in this fair is possible thanks to the collaboration of the Government of Navarra, through the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Navarra exhibits its potential at Barcelona Wine Week.
