The Control Board collaborates in the project Smart Sustainable Wine<\/em> Navarra <\/em>The objective of this project is to develop a sustainability management system adapted to the vineyard and wineries of the region. Denomination of Origin Navarra<\/a>. The initiative is led by the Uni\u00f3n de Agricultores y Ganaderos de Navarra (Union of Farmers and Ranchers of Navarra) (UAGN<\/a>) to launch an integrated sustainable agricultural production in the region that addresses not only environmental, but also economic and social aspects. Promoted by the oenologist Fernando Chivite in collaboration with the Instituto Navarro de Tecnolog\u00edas e Infraestructuras Agroalimentarias (INTIA<\/a>) and the Li\u00e9dena Winery<\/a>This system is intended to be exportable to other national and international areas in order to make Navarra a pioneer and benchmark in sustainability.
