Javier Santaf\u00e9 has been appointed managing director of the Consejo Regulador de la Denomination of Origin Navarra<\/strong>. Born in the Navarrese town of Valtierra, he has developed his training in important university centers in Spain and France. He holds a degree in Pharmacy from the University of Navarra in Pamplona, in the region of Navarra, and has a Master's Degree in Viticulture, Enology and Wine Business Management from the University of Valencia. In addition, his studies are completed with the recognized \"Master of Science in Wine Management\" of the International Organization of Vine and Wine (OIV) and the University of Paris Nanterre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Santaf\u00e9 brings to the position a work experience of more than 25 years, developed in the wine sector of which he has a vast knowledge due to his experience in the management of relevant groups and wineries of the national scene. His professional career began at the Vi\u00f1as del Vero winery in Barbastro (Huesca) as sales and marketing director for seventeen years. After working for the Faustino Group in Oy\u00f3n (\u00c1lava), he has developed his work in the Paternina Group in Haro (La Rioja) and then continued this work in the Roqueta Origen Group in Manresa (Barcelona) from 2014 until today, when he returns to his homeland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The incorporation of Javier Santaf\u00e9 to the direction and management of the Control Board is a boost for the beginning of a new stage aimed at the strategic repositioning of the D.O.
