Ten wines have been chosen to represent the Navarra Designation of Origin in the Control Board's promotional activities over the next 12 months, following a blind tasting carried out by an external panel made up of professionals from the sector.<\/strong>
The\u00a0Navarra D.O. Wines Selection 2024<\/strong>\u00a0is composed of ten wines that have been chosen in their respective categories: White Wine D.O. Navarra, White Wine D.O. Navarra with Crianza, Ros\u00e9 Wine D.O. Navarra, Ros\u00e9 Wine D.O. Navarra with Crianza, Red Wine D.O. Navarra A\u00f1ada, Red Wine D.O. Navarra with Crianza, Red Wine Garnacha D.O. Navarra, Red Wine D.O. Navarra Varietal, Red Wine D.O. Navarra Coupage and Sweet Wine D.O. Navarra. Thus, the Selection of Wines D.O. Navarra 2024 is born.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0

The election was made by an external jury made up of professionals from the tasting panel of the magazine and annual guide \"Vivir el Vino\", who analyzed nearly 160 references belonging to the forty wineries of the D.O. Navarra that were presented. The blind tasting was held at the headquarters in Olite of the Regulatory Council of the Designation of Origin.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0

The wines with the highest scores in their category and, therefore, members of the\u00a0Navarra D.O. Wines Selection 2024\u00a0<\/strong>are:\u00a0\u00a0

These wines will be used throughout the year for the Control Board's promotional activities that require their presence, such as specialized tastings, training activities and presentations.

The presentation of the diplomas to the wineries producing the wines chosen from the Navarra 2024 D.O. Navarra Wine Selection will be held in the auditorium of the Casa de Cultura in Burlada on March 6.\u00a0

Sunday will kick off a new edition of the main international wine event, Prowein. The veteran fair, which already has nearly thirty editions, will be held in D\u00fcsseldorf from March 10 to 12. During these days, similar figures to those of last year are expected, more than 6,000 exhibitors from over 60 wine-producing countries will present their offerings in 13 pavilions to thousands of visitors. These are figures that make this great event currently the most relevant wine showcase in the world.

In this context, Navarra is preparing to attend its annual appointment with Prowein. On the one hand, the Control Board is exhibiting at a stand (11\/C40) with an enoteca offering 30 references of the latest white, ros\u00e9 and red wines made from Garnacha grapes by the wineries. Visitors, professionals coming from many countries, will be able to taste them freely to tour and learn about the Designation of Origin through its most representative variety. Positioning Navarra through the quality, authenticity and freshness of its Garnacha grapes is one of the milestones of the new positioning plan of the Control Board, as well as its leadership with ros\u00e9 wines.

On the other hand, Prowein will have the presence of 10 wineries that will exhibit their wines at the stand promoted by INTIA-Reyno Gourmet: Vi\u00f1a Aliaga, Bodegas Marqu\u00e9s de Montecierzo, Bodega de Sada, Vi\u00f1a Zorzal Wines, Piedemonte, Quaderna Via - Organic and Biodynamic Wines, Bodega de Li\u00e9dena, Castillo de Monjard\u00edn, Ubeta Wines and Bodega Inurrieta. All of them will be located at stand 11B48. This Navarrese presence is completed with the wineries attending the event with their own stand or as group exhibitors or through distributors: Bodegas Manzanos, Otazu, Bodega Pago de Cirsus, Bodegas Navarrsotillo, Bodegas Marco Real, Bodegas San Mart\u00edn, Bodegas Pr\u00edncipe de Viana, Bodega de Sarr\u00eda, Pago de Larrainzar, Vi\u00f1edos y Bodegas Alconde, Bodegas Pagos de Araiz, Aroa Bodegas and Bodegas Marqu\u00e9s del Atrio.

In total, around 25 wineries from the Navarra Denomination of Origin, one of the most important in the country, will show the public the quality of their products.
